I have two beautiful Border Collies
Foxie, below photo is of Foxie as a puppy
(she is one beautiful fluff bucket blue Merle.)
and Riley’s photo below (one handsome Ri Ri Black and white with a touch of blue Merle on one ear. He is Foxie’s brother)
My mother taught me a trick that works a treat in order to toilet train puppies. You just keep them by you or preferably on your lap and when they start to wriggle about just take them into the garden and pop them down to do their dirties, once they have done a dirty be it a number one or number two make a huge fuss of them so they know they have been good, reinforce this with a doggie treat as often as possible.
Here is a photo of Foxie and Riley at about nine months of age together on the beach waiting for their ball to be thrown, they look so darned cute! 
When walking my doggies friends often go with me, generally my mum also goes. We have a field in St Peter’s Parish in Jersey where we often play ball with the dogs. They just love to run around and fetch their ball. Below photo of what our doggies look like now. 
Border Collies are so alert and intelligent.
